Abstract

Kalsium klorida anhidrat (CaCl₂) merupakan bahan kimia yang banyak digunakan pada industri minyak dan gas, pengendalian kelembapan, serta berbagai proses industri. Kebutuhan CaCl₂ di Indonesia terus meningkat dan masih dipenuhi melalui impor sehingga diperlukan pembangunan fasilitas produksi dalam negeri. Pra rancangan pabrik ini memproduksi CaCl₂ anhidrat menggunakan batu kapur, asam klorida (HCl), dan amonia (NH₃) dengan jalur recovery ammonia terintegrasi. Proses diawali dengan pembentukan amonium klorida (NH₄Cl) dari reaksi NH₃ dan HCl, kemudian NH₄Cl direaksikan dengan kalsium hidroksida hasil pengolahan batu kapur untuk menghasilkan CaCl₂. Amonia yang terbentuk kembali direcovery dan dikembalikan ke unit pembentukan NH₄Cl sehingga kebutuhan fresh feed amonia dapat dikurangi. Penerapan sistem ini meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan bahan baku sekaligus menurunkan potensi emisi amonia ke lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi ekonomi, diperoleh nilai Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) sebesar Rp.159.906.857.988 dan Total Capital Investment (TCI) sebesar Rp.188.125.715.279. Analisis kelayakan menunjukkan nilai Discounted Cash Flow Rate of Return (DCFRR) sebesar 44,30% dan Discounted Payback Period (DPBP) sebesar 2 tahun. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pabrik CaCl₂ anhidrat dengan jalur recovery ammonia terintegrasi layak untuk didirikan secara teknis maupun ekonomis.
