Abstract

Pertumbuhan kawasan terbangun di Kota Balikpapan berpotensi meningkatkan suhu permukaan lahan (LST) akibat berkurangnya tutupan vegetasi. Penelitian ini menganalisis distribusi LST, hubungannya dengan kerapatan vegetasi (NDVI), serta merumuskan rekomendasi mitigasi berbasis vegetasi di Kota Balikpapan. Analisis spasial menggunakan citra Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS tahun 2015 dan 2025 yang diolah melalui Google Earth Engine dan ArcGIS 10.8, dengan korelasi Spearman terhadap 100 titik sampel stratified random sampling. Hasil menunjukkan LST 2025 berkisar 26°C–35°C, naik rata-rata 4°C dibanding 2015 seiring pertumbuhan lahan terbangun 36,24%. Suhu tertinggi berada di kawasan minim vegetasi, terendah di kawasan hutan dan mangrove. Korelasi Spearman menghasilkan Rs = -0,745 (2025) dan Rs = -0,765 (2015), keduanya kuat dan negatif secara konsisten. Rekomendasi mitigasi disusun berdasarkan tujuh strategi vegetasi, mencakup vegetasi peneduh jalan, RTH, vegetasi vertikal, vegetasi riparian-pesisir, vegetasi produktif, serta perlindungan dan reforestasi hutan.
