Abstract

Pabrik Natrium Sulfat Dekahidrat ini dirancang dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 143.000 ton/tahun dan beroperasi secara kontinyu selama 330 hari/tahun dengan waktu operasi 24 jam/hari. Prarancangan pabrik ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya kebutuhan natrium sulfat dekahidrat di berbagai sektor industri, seperti industri deterjen, kaca, tekstil, dan kertas, serta masih terbukanya peluang pengembangan produksi dalam negeri untuk mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap impor. Pabrik direncanakan akan didirikan pada tahun 2035 dan berlokasi di Kecamatan Manyar, Kabupaten Gresik, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Produk utama yang dihasilkan adalah Natrium Sulfat Dekahidrat, sedangkan produk samping berupa Asam Klorida. Bahan baku utama yang digunakan dalam proses produksi adalah Asam Sulfat dan Natrium Klorida, dengan bahan pendukung berupa Natrium Karbonat dan Kalsium Hidroksida. Proses produksi Natrium Sulfat Dekahidrat menggunakan proses Mannheim. Dari hasil analisis ekonomi, diperoleh nilai modal tetap (FCI) dan modal kerja (WCI) yang dibutuhkan dalam pembangunan pabrik sebesar $ 33.629.968,68 dan $ 5.044.495,30. Sehingga jumlah modal investasi (TCI) pabrik ini sebesar $ 38.674.463,98. Berdasarkan aspek ekonomi nilai ROI sebesar 51,65%, BEP sebesar 70%, SDP sebesar 18%, DPBP pabrik ini sebesar 6 tahun 7 bulan, NPV sebesar $ 62.016.168,16 dan DCFR sebesar 37,73%. Berdasarkan analisis ekonomi pabrik Natrium Sulfat Dekahidrat diatas dapat dikatakan bahwa pabrik ini layak untuk didirikan.
