Abstract

Pemanfaatan limbah daur ulang agregat kasar beton dan fly ash sebagai material pembentuk beton memberikan dampak positif jika ditinjau dari segi lingkungan karena mampu mengurangi limbah industri serta penggunaan material alam. Salah satu inovasi yang diteliti pada penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan Recycled Coarse Agregate (RCA) beton sebagai substitusi agregat kasar dan fly ash sebagai filler pada beton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik material fly ash dan RCA, nilai optimum kuat tekan, serta perbandingan beton normal dengan yang menggunakan fly ash dan RCA. Penelitian dilakukan dengan variasi substitusi RCA sebesar 25%, 50%, dan 75%, serta filler fly ash sebesar 15%. Metode pada penelitian meliputi pengujian karakteristik fisik dan kandungan zat kimia pada material, perencanaan mix design dengan mutu beton 25 MPa, pembuatan benda uji beton silinder, curing 28 hari, serta pengujian kuat tekan. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium terpadu Institut Teknologi Kalimantan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa nilai kuat tekan yang tertinggi pada beton normal dengan kuat tekan rata-rata 25,02 MPa. Sedangkan, pada variasi RCA 25% + fly ash 15% merupakan variasi paling optimal, menghasilkan kuat tekan rata-rata sebesar 24,67 MPa.
