Abstract
Pabrik Light Olefin dengan kapasitas 650.000 ton/tahun dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dalam dalam negeri dan diharapkan mampu bersaing dengan pasar luar. Selain itu, pra rancangan pabrik ini sebagai distributor penghasil light olefin di Indonesia agar kebutuhan light olefin dapat terpenuhi. Proses produksi light olefin ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan proses yaitu, tahap pretreatment bahan baku, reaksi gasifikasi, sintesis metanol, dan proses sintesis MTO, agar diperoleh produk yang kemurnian yang tinggi. Pabrik ini rencananya akan didirikan di Bengalon, Kutai Timur, Kalimantan Timur dengan luas tanah 16 hektar. Pabrik light olefin ini memiliki jumlah pekerja sebanyak 189 pekerja dengan waktu operasi 24 jam selama setahun yang dibagi menjadi 3 shift dengan 8 jam kerja/shift.Adapun modal tetap (FCI) dan modal kerja (WCI) yang dibutuhkan dalam pembangunan pabrik ini berturut-turut sebesar Rp. 11.702.609.631.096,10 dan Rp. 2.065.166.405.487,55 Sehingga jumlah modal investasi (TCI) pabrik ini sebesar Rp. 13.767.776.036.583,70 Berdasarkan aspek ekonomi nilai IRR pabrik ini sebesar 15,76%, ROI sebelum pajak sebesar 34,90% dan setelah pajak sebesar 24,43%. POT selama 15,05 tahun, dan BEP sebesar 47,13%. Dari aspek tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik Light Olefin ini layak didirikan. Kata kunci: Gasifikasi, Light Olefin, Metanol.
