Abstract

Pra rancangan pabrik bio-naphtha berbahan baku Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Oil (RBDPO) memiliki kapasitas produksi 2.000.000 ton/tahun dan beroperasi secara kontinyu. Produksi bio-naphtha secara umum terbagi menjadi dua tahapan utama, yaitu proses hydrotreating dan hydrocracking. Proses hydrotreating pada reaktor 1 menggunakan katalis NiMoS2/γ-Al2O3 dengan konversi reaksi yang dihasilkan sebesar 99%, bertujuan untuk mengubah asam lemak bebas dan asam lemak jenuh pada RBDPO menjadi hidrokarbon rantai panjang berupa C15-C18. Proses hydrocracking pada reaktor 2 menggunakan katalis Pt/US-Y zeolite dengan konversi reaksi sebesar 93%, dimana senyawa hidrokarbon rantai C15-C18 direaksikan dengan gas hidrogen menjadi senyawa hidrokarbon rantai pendek (C7-C11). Hydrocracking merupakan pemutusan rantai karbon dengan penambahan hidrogen yang ditandai dengan konversi hidrokarbon rantai panjang menjadi produk hidrokarbon rantai pendek. Pabrik ini akan dibangun di wilayah Kawasan Industri Krakatau, Kota Cilegon, Provinsi Banten dengan luas lahan sebesar 15 hektare. Adapun kebutuhan energi untuk pengoperasian pabrik ini meliputi kebutuhan listrik sebesar 93.165 kW. Berdasarkan analisis ekonomi, pendirian pabrik bio-naphtha membutuhkan Total Capital Invesment (TCI) sebesar US$ 1.069.169.752 dan Total Production Cost (TPC) sebesar US$ 2.426.079.784. Pabrik bio-naphtha yang dirancang memiliki Return on Investment (ROI) sebesar 96%, Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar US$ 10.374.527.299, dan Discounted Cash Flow Rate of Return (DCFR) sebesar 45,15%. Berdasarkan parameter tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik bio-naphtha yang dirancang layak untuk dikaji lebih lanjut
