Abstract

Internet of Things merupakan konsep dimana perangkat elektronik dapat saling terhubung dan berkomunikasi secara mandiri melalui jaringan. Salah satu contoh penerapan Internet of Things yaitu pada sistem monitoring. Sistem monitoring digunakan untuk memantau kinerja dari suatu objek secara real time. Dengan adanya monitoring, pengguna dapat mengetahui efisiensi kinerja dari suatu objek dan hambatan yang berpengaruh terhadap objek yang diteliti. Penelitian pada tugas akhir ini berfokus pada perancangan sistem monitoring kondisi lampu dan AC pada ruangan kelas berbasis Internet of Things dimana pengguna dapat memantau kondisi lampu dan AC pada ruangan kelas secara real time. Dalam proses perancangan akan dibagi menjadi perancangan alat (hardware) dan perancangan website (software), serta proses uji coba dengan berbagai kondisi yang diberikan. Selanjutnya pada saat pengujian secara langsung di salah satu gedung perkuliahan yaitu F105 didapatkan hasil monitoring AC dan lampu yang sesuai. Dari tiga percobaan yang dilakukan, didapatkan hasil monitoring secara real time dengan nilai threshold pada arus listrik 1 A dan pada intensitas cahaya 400 lux yang menjadi acuan untuk menyatakan kondisi ON/OFF pada lampu dan AC.
