Abstract

Kebutuhan energi listrik di Indonesia yang terus meningkat, ditambah ketergantungan tinggi terhadap bahan bakar fosil, mendorong urgensi pengembangan energi terbarukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi dan kelayakan teknis-ekonomi dari penerapan sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) on-grid pada atap Gedung Perkuliahan E, F, dan G di Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK). Data iradiasi dan suhu dikumpulkan selama 30 hari pengamatan, dengan hasil menunjukkan nilai iradiasi maksimum mencapai 1170 W/m² dan suhu berkisar antara 27–32°C. Sistem yang dirancang menggunakan 672 panel surya monokristalin berkapasitas 330 Wp dan enam unit inverter 40 kW. Simulasi ini menggunakan software PVsyst yang menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menghasilkan energi listrik dengan efisiensi tinggi dan nilai Performance Ratio (PR) lebih dari 85%. Evaluasi ekonomi menggunakan metode Life Cycle Cost (LCC), Cost of Energy (COE), dan Payback Period (PP), menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini memiliki kelayakan investasi, dengan biaya energi berkisar antara Rp 767–1.088 per kWh dan waktu pengembalian modal antara 10 hingga 15 tahun. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan dapat mendukung transisi ITK menuju kampus hijau dan efisien energi.
