Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis respon sistem mooring pada Heavy Lift Vessel Crane (HLVC) tipe semi-submersible selama operasi stationary lifting di perairan North Sea. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh variasi arah datang gelombang, kedalaman perairan, kondisi lingkungan (operasi dan ekstrem), serta variasi posisi beban topside terhadap respon gerak kapal, offset, tegangan mooring line, dan sling force. Karakteristik gerak HLVC dianalisis menggunakan Response Amplitude Operator (RAO) enam derajat kebebasan (6-DOF) pada kondisi free floating, sedangkan respon mooring dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak OrcaFlex dengan pendekatan time-domain pada konfigurasi intact 12-line spread mooring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi lingkungan ekstrem menghasilkan peningkatan offset dan tegangan mooring dibandingkan kondisi operasi. Gerakan surge, sway, dan yaw memberikan pengaruh dominan terhadap peningkatan tegangan mooring, sedangkan nilai sling force terbesar terjadi pada kondisi splash zone selama proses lifting. Evaluasi berdasarkan kriteria DNV menunjukkan bahwa respon sistem mooring masih berada dalam batas aman sehingga hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar evaluasi batas aman operasi lifting HLVC di perairan North Sea.
