Abstract

Transportasi logistik di sepanjang jalur perairan Sungai Mahakam menghadapi tantangan fisik berupa keterbatasan kedalaman alur, geometri sungai yang berkelok, serta minimnya sarana bongkar muat komersial di kawasan pedalaman Kalimantan Timur (rute Palaran, Samarinda – Melak, Kutai Barat). Kondisi ini memicu tingginya biaya logistik karena ketergantungan pada moda darat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain konseptual kapal River Feeder Barge sarat rendah yang dilengkapi dengan sistem bongkar muat mandiri (deck crane) sebagai solusi distribusi peti kemas yang efisien dan otonom. Metode perancangan menggunakan Parent Design Approach dengan bantuan software Maxsurf Modeller, AutoCAD, dan Rhinoceros 8 untuk pemodelan tiga dimensi (3D). Hasil perancangan menetapkan ukuran utama kapal: LOA 64,50 m; LBP 61,40; LWL 64,15 m; B 21,20 m; H 4,86 m; dan T 3,12 m dengan koefisien blok (Cb) sebesar 0,930 pada Froude Number (Fn) 0,164. Perhitungan hambatan kapal dilakukan dengan metode KR Barge Resistance untuk menentukan kebutuhan daya mesin penggerak berupa dual unit Azimuth Thruster. Analisis stabilitas utuh (intact stability) yang disimulasikan pada berbagai variasi loadcase (100% hingga 10% consumable) menunjukkan seluruh parameter memenuhi kriteria keselamatan internasional IMO A.749(18) Chapter 3. Penempatan akomodasi dan pedestal crane di area tengah kapal (midship) terbukti efektif menjaga keseimbangan momen statis dan distribusi berat kapal, sehingga meminimalkan trim operasional serta memastikan kelaiklautan kapal saat melakukan aktivitas bongkar muat mandiri di perairan sungai dangkal.
