Abstract
Struktur midship pada kapal tanker berperan penting dalam mempertahankan kekuatan memanjang lambung, namun pendekatan deterministik umumnya belum mempertimbangkan ketidakpastian akibat degradasi lingkungan, khususnya korosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi dan membandingkan keandalan struktur midship kapal tanker 31.400 DWT yang dirancang berdasarkan Rules for Hull BKI Volume II dan Common Structural Rules (IACS-CSR) selama lima tahun operasi. Metode penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis deterministik dan probabilistik melalui pemodelan struktur, simulasi Finite Element Method (FEM) untuk memperoleh tegangan von Mises, serta evaluasi safety factor (SF). Analisis probabilistik dilakukan dengan memodelkan laju korosi sebagai variabel acak dan menggunakan simulasi Monte Carlo untuk memperoleh reliability index (β) dan probability of failure (Pf). Hasil analisis deterministik menunjukkan bahwa kedua regulasi memenuhi standar keselamatan minimum, dengan SF terendah 1.46 pada model BKI dan 1.86 pada model IACS-CSR. Hasil probabilistik menunjukkan penurunan reliability index seiring waktu akibat akumulasi korosi. Pada tahun kelima, model IACS-CSR menghasilkan β sebesar 4.14 dengan Pf sebesar 0.0017%, sedangkan model BKI menghasilkan β sebesar 2.58 dengan Pf 0.494%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa IACS-CSR memberikan tingkat keandalan jangka panjang yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan BKI.
