Abstract

Pabrik Sodium Laktat dengan kapasitas 6000 ton/tahun dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dalam dalam negeri dan diharapkan mampu bersaing dengan pasar luar. Proses produksi Sodium laktat ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap hidrolisis bahan baku molase, tahap fermentasi dan tahap penetralan menjadi sodium laktat. Pabrik ini rencananya akan didirikan di Bombana, Sulawesi Tenggara dengan luas tanah 4036,5 m2. Pabrik sodium laktat ini memiliki waktu operasi 24 jam selama setahun yang dibagi menjadi 3 shift dengan 8 jam kerja/shift. Pabrik sodium laktat ini membutuhkan listrik sebesar 753,66 kW/jam dan kebutuhan air sebesar 366.969,37 kg/jam. Adapun modal tetap (FCI) dan modal kerja (WCI) yang dibutuhkan dalam pembangunan pabrik ini berturut-turut sebesar Rp 300.336.500.454 dan Rp 50.056.083.409. Sehingga jumlah modal investasi (TCI) pabrik ini sebesar Rp 333.707.222.727. Berdasarkan aspek parameter pendirian pabrik kimia, nilai DCFR pabrik ini sebesar 31,60 POT selama 3 tahun, dan BEP sebesar 41,13% Dari aspek tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik sodium laktat ini layak didirikan.
