Abstract
Energi listrik telah menjadi energi primer saat ini. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada kehidupan sehari-hari dimana setiap bangunan membutuhkan energi listrik namun setiap tahunnya telah terjadi kebakaran pada gedung yang disebabkan oleh berbagai alasan salah satunya hubung singkat arus listrik yang menempati posisi pertama sebagai penyebab kebakaran Gedung. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan perencanaan desain sistem instalasi listrik pada Gedung Baru Kejaksaan Negeri Balikpapan sesuai dengan Pedoman Umum Instalasi Listrik (PUIL 2011). Analisis yang dilakukan meliputi sistem pencahayaan buatan, sistem AC dan sistem beban perkantoran. Dari analisis data yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil kebutuhan daya total gedung ialah 377.41 kVA. Persentase kebutuhan listrik untuk masing-masing lantai yaitu Lantai SB (11.32%), Lantai 1 (2.83%), Lantai 2 (18.58%), Lantai 3 (18.97%) dan Lantai 4 (48.31%).
