Abstract
Dalam mendesain suatu kapal perlu dilakukan analisis tentang stabilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Perbandingan kondisi stabilitas kapal Tugboat pada desain awal dengan yang sesuai produksi,terjadi perubahan lebar pada desain awal dengan hasil produksi yang tentu berkaitan dengan rasio B/T kapal sehingga berpengaruh terhadap stabilitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni persamaan matematika B-spiline dan Benyamin Spence menggunakan bantuan software berbasis B-Spiline yang memvariasikan pemuatan kapal sebesar 100% DWT, 75% DWT, 50% DWT, dan 25% DWT pada desain awal dan yang sesuai produksi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan Kapal dengan lebar 9m & 8,6m pada semua kondisi loadcase memenuhi persyaratan IMO. Pada penelitian perbandingan stabilitas menyatakan bahwa kapal dengan lebar 9m memiliki nilai stabilitas yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kapal dengan lebar 8,6m. Pada penelitian kriteria cuaca kapal dengan 9m & 8,6m pada semua kondisi loadcase memenuhi persyaratan kriteria cuaca IMO.
