Abstract

Pelabuhan Ferry Kariangau Balikpapan Barat merupakan salah satu pelabuhan yang aktif beroperasi dan menghubungkan Kota Balikpapan, Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara, dan Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Pelabuhan ini terletak di kawasan teluk Balikpapan dan masuk ke daerah aliran Sungai Wain dengan kondisi perairan relative tertutup. Kondisi tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan erosi dan sedimentasi. Dilakukan analisis perubahan garis pantai dengan perbandingan tahun 2016 dan 2021, penelitian ini menggunakan metode digitasi rekaman citra satelit Landsat 8 dengan perangkat lunak ArcMap 10.7.1. Untuk melihat pola arus pada wilayah tersebut dilakukan pemodelan dengan parameter data angin dan pasang surut. Dari proses analisis dan pemodelan yang telah dilakukan menghasilkan kondisi ketinggian muka air saat surut terendah 0.75 m dan pasang tertinggi 1.5 m. Kecepatan arus saat surut terendah 0.03-0.05 m/s dan saat pasang tertinggi 0.03-0.1 m/s. Pada saat keadaan surut terendah arah arus mengarah ke utara, pada saat pasang tertinggi terjadi pembelokan ke arah timur. Perhitungan laju erosi selama 2016-2021 di Pelabuhan Ferry Kariangau adalah 3 meter/tahun pada area A dan 1.84 meter/tahun pada area C. Sedangkan laju sedimentasi tahun 2016-2021 di Pelabuhan Ferry Kariangau adalah 2.20 meter/tahun pada area B dan 2.18 meter/tahun di area D.
