Abstract

Produksi silica dari bahan baku asam sulfat dan water glass dengan kapasitas 42.000 ton/tahun melalui tiga tahapan proses, yaitu tahapan pre-treatment bahan baku, tahap sintesa silica, dan tahap pemurnian produk silica. Pre-treatment bahan baku dilakukan dengan menyiapkan masing-masing larutan untuk siap dialirkan ke dalam reaktor, asam sulfat diencerkan hingga 5% dengan menambahkan air dan dipanaskan sampai suhu 90℃, sedangkan water glass langsung dipanaskan sampai suhu 90℃. Kemudian kedua larutan tersebut direaksikan didalam Reaktor Tangki Alir Berpengaduk pada tahap sintesa silica. Langkah terakhir, silica dimurnikan sampai akhirnya dikemas dan disimpan didalam gudang penyimpanan. Pabrik silica ini memiliki pekerja sebanyak 160 pekerja dengan waktu operasi 24 jam selama satu tahun yang dibagi menjadi 3 shift dengan 8 jam kerja. Pabrik direncanakan akan didirikan di Bogor. Pabrik Silica ini membutuhkan listrik sebesar 352,2 kW, membutuhkan air sebesar 617 m3/jam, membutuhkan steam sebesar 7.825 kg/jam, dan membutuhkan udara kering sebesar 7.012 kg/jam. Selain itu modal tetap (FCI) dan modal kerja (WCI) yang digunakan dalam pabrik ini berturut-turut nilainya sebesar Rp320.052.686.146 dan Rp105.497.132.480. Sehingga jumlah modal investasi (TCI) pabrik silica ini sebesar Rp425.549.818.626. Pabrik ini menggunakan peminjaman dana sebesar 40% dari modal tetap, dan penggunaan dana mandiri sebesar 60% dari modal tetap. Berdasarkan dengan aspek ekonomi nilai DCFR pabrik ini sebesar 28%, ROI sebesar 69%, NPV sebesar Rp1.034.254.284.713, dan DPBP sebesar 3,91 tahun.
