Abstract

Pengangkutan barang yang dilakukan secara manual dan berulang dalam jangka waktu yang panjang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya keluhan otot pada pekerja atau biasa disebut sebagai Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Salah satu industri yang masih melakukan proses pengangkutan barang secara manual adalah CV. Giri Kencana Balikpapan yang merupakan perusahaan yang melayani penjualan keramik serta memproduksi kawat harmonika. Proses pengangkutan keramik dari gudang ke mobil pengantaran keramik dan sebaliknya, pada perusahaan tersebut masih dilakukan secara manual, berulang dan tanpa alat bantu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko cedera pada otot rangka menggunakan metode Nordic Body Map (NBM) serta menghitung nilai Recommended Weight Limit (RWL) dan Lifting Index (LI) yang dapat direkomendasikan. Hasil yang didapatkan pada analisis NBM adalah 40% pekerja memiliki tingkat risiko rendah yang berarti tidak perlu perbaikan serta 60% pekerja memiliki tingkat risiko sedang yang berarti mungkin perlu dilakukan perbaikan. Hasil dari perhitungan RWL dan LI, didapatkan nilai LI sebelum diberikan rekomendasi dan setelah diberikan rekomendasi >1, akan tetapi terjadi penurunan nilai, sebelum rekomendasi rentang nilai LI berkisar dari 6 hingga 11, setelah rekomendasi nilai LI berkisar 2 hingga 5, sehingga tingkat risiko cedera yang dihadapi oleh pekerja juga akan menurun. Pemberian rekomendasi kepada pekerja dan perusahaan berupa desain perancangan alat bantu angkat yaitu lift table yang berguna untuk memindahkan serta mengangkat barang dikarenakan berat beban yang diangkat oleh pekerja melebihi batas aman.
