Abstract
Dalam beberapa perancangan kapal berkecepatan tinggi telah meningkat dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Kecepatan kerja kapal yang tinggi tentunya mempengaruhi besar kecilnya hambatan kapal. kapal denagn lambung planing adalah kapal yang cepat dengan jumlah volume froude number Fn = 1,0–3,5 yang sebagian besar beratnya ditopang oleh gaya angkat, sehingga haluan kapal diangkat dengan cepat. Sedangkan deadrise sering disebut juga dengan rise of floor, yaitu kemirinagn sudut alas dari garis dasar kapal jika dilihat dari sudut pandang body plan. Alasan utama untuk memperkenalkan strip adalah untuk mengurangi daerah basah dari struktur karena semburan (spray strake). Diperoleh dari bagian bawah kapal, kemudian pembentukan strip dapat meningkatkan daya angkat perahu, terutama pada haluan kapal .Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis dan Metode Simulasi Software. Spray strake dapat diartikan sebagai sebuah strip memanjang yang dipasang di lambung kapal. Kata kunci : Kapal cepat, spray strake, lambung planning , kapal, metode.
