Abstract
Proses produksi Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC) berbahan baku batu kapur ini berkapasitas 20.000 ton/tahun yang akan beroperasi secara kontinyu. Dalam proses sintesis PCC, terdapat beberapa proses utama, antara lain persiapan bahan baku, kalsinasi, reaksi karbonasi dan pemurnian. Slurry PCC yang keluar dari reaktor kemudian dilanjutkan pada tahapan pemurnian sehingga dihasilkan padatan. Selanjutnya produk dihaluskan dan diayak. Pabrik Precipitated Calcium Carbonate direncanakan berdiri di Sidoarjo Rangkah Industrial Estate, Jawa Timur, dengan luas tanah 3.545,56 m2. Adapun kebutuhan energi untuk pengoperasian pabrik ini meliputi kebutuhan listrik sebesar 284,59 kWh, kebutuhan air proses 3.946,18 sebesar kg/jam, kebutuhan steam sebesar 163,48 kg/jam, bahan bakar sebesar 179,30 kg/jam, air pendingin sebesar 78,30 kg/jam dan refrigerant sebesar 18,33 kg/jam. Sedangkan untuk hasil analisis ekonomi, didapatkan perhitungan dengan modal tetap sebesar Rp 51.454.322.826, modal kerja sebesar Rp 7.718.148.424 dan biaya produksi sebesar Rp620.978.520.474. Selain itu analisis profitabilitas menunjukkan nilai ROI sebesar 95%, BEP 20%, DCFR 45,70%, SDP 10%, DPBP 1,39 tahun, dan NPV Rp 571.097.184.327 Kata kunci: PCC, Proses Karbonasi, Batu Kapur, Kalsinasi
