Abstract

Penyimpanan material pada gudang 3015 sudah rapi dan telah dikelompokkan berdasarkan tipe dan kategorinya. Namun, penyimpanan material di gudang 3015 belum memperhatikan total dan frekuensi tipe material keluar, akibatnya banyak tipe material seperti Bag, diletakkan jauh dari area pintu (I/O) dengan total jarak tempuh sebesar 38.24 m, sehingga perlu dilakukan kajian tata letak penyimpanan material ulang pada gudang 3015. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan menerapkan metode Class Based Storage dalam kajian tata letak penyimpanan material ulang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan persentase tiap tipe material keluar dan pengkategorian berdasarkan kelas, kemudian dilakukan analisis layout awal dan pemberian layout usulan, serta melakukan perbandingan jarak dan waktu total keseluruhan layout awal dengan layout usulan. Setelah dilakukan analisis dan pertimbangan pada layout awal, didapatkan 2 desain rancangan tata letak penyimpanan material usulan pada gudang 3015. Pada desain layout usulan 1, didapatkan jarak dan waktu total keseluruhan sebesar 8090.52 m dan 7707.74 s. Selisih antara jarak dan waktu total keseluruhan layout usulan 1 dengan layout awal sebesar 6168.08 m dan 5181.98 s, sehingga terjadi penurunan sebesar 43.00% dan 40.00% Sedangkan pada desain layout usulan 2, didapatkan jarak dan waktu total keseluruhan sebesar 6612.98 m dan 6429.90 s. Selisih antara jarak dan waktu total keseluruhan layout usulan 2 dengan layout awal sebesar 7645.62 m dan 6459.82 s, sehingga terjadi penurunan sebesar 54.00% dan 50.00%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa layout usulan 2 memberikan penurunan jarak dan waktu total keseluruhan yang paling signifikan dibandingkan dengan layout usulan 1.
