Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena mesin cetak merupakan salah satu mesin produksi yang sering digunakan untuk membentuk box packaging, sehingga tak jarang terjadi beberapa permasalahan pada sistem produksi akibat downtime pada mesin. Waktu downtime yang terjadi pada mesin cetak di CV Delimas menyebabkan proses produksi box packaging menjadi terkendala dalam proses produksi pembuatan ataupun saat proses pengiriman. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kinerja mesin cetak dengan menggunakan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectivenes (OEE) dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan berdasarkan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), sehingga perlu dilakukannya perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectivenes (OEE) pada mesin cetak untuk mengetahui apakah mesin cetak tersebut sudah memiliki nilai ketersediaan (availability), kinerja (Performance) dan kualitas (quality) sesuai dengan standar World Class yaitu 85%, dengan mencapai standar tersebut dianggap mecapai tingkat yang mencerminkan performa mesin cetak yang baik sesuai dengan standar industri global dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan berdasarkan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) untuk melakukan manajemen perawatan mesin yang didukung dengan pemeliharaan rutin oleh operator mesin (Autonomous Maintenance) agar meminimalisir terjadinya permasalahan. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu peningkatan nilai availability, performance, quality dan OEE sebelum dan sesudah penerapan TPM. Dengan peningkatan sebesar 35%, 21%, 35% dan 20%. Penerapan TPM telah memberikan peningkatan yang signifikan dengan ketersediaan, kinerja, kualitas dan efektifitas mesin cetak secara keseluruhan.
