Abstract

Mesin bubut Magnum Tech CW62100B merupakan mesin bubut yang digunakan oleh PT Mulia Perdana Mupeco bergerak untuk proses produksinya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi mesin ini memiliki downtime selama 28,5 dan tergolong downtime paling tinggi dari mesin bubut jenis lainnya yaitu mesin bubut JINLING dan mesin bubut ZhenJiang Machine c630A- M. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai availability, performance ratio, rate of quality products serta nilai OEE pada mesin Magnum Tech CW62100B di PT. Mulia Perdana Mupeco dan untuk mengetahui akar – akar penyebab masalah ketidakefektifan dan kontradiksi dari mesin Magnum Tech CW62100B di PT. Mulia Perdana Mupeco. Pendekatan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) digunakan untuk yang digunakan untuk mengukur efetivitas dari mesin bubut Magnum Tech CW62100B dan Root Conflict Analysis (RCA+) digunakan untuk menentukan akar penyebab masalah yang berfokus pada kontradiksi dari ketidakefektifan mesin bubut Magnum Tech CW62100B. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa OEE pada mesin bubut masih berada dibawah standar global yaitu sebesar 75% dan analisis penyebab masalah ketidakefektifan mesin bubut dengan metode RCA+ ditemukan 6 akar masalah yang memiliki dampak positif dan negatif atau kontradiksi yaitu pemutaran top slide terlalu cepat, penguncian chuck terlalu kencang, pemakanan terlalu tebal, cross slide terus menyala, pemakaian jangka panjang pada mesin bubut, dan briefing sebelum bekerja terlalu lama.
