Abstract

PT LPB adalah perusahaan jasa pengiriman barang yang melayani pengiriman dari Balikpapan menuju Makassar. Permasalahan pada pendapatan PT LPB yang terus menurun selama 2 tahun terakhir secara berturut-turut, dimana pendapatan di tahun 2023 yaitu sebesar -48% dan tahun 2024 sebesar -19%. Permasalahan ini menjadi evaluasi bagi perusahaan untuk mengambil keputusan terhadap tarif yang berlaku karena tarif adalah unsur utama dalam pemasaran yang menentukan seberapa jauh kualitas layanan jasa yang dinilai langsung oleh konsumen sehingga perusahaan perlu mempertimbangkan keputusan kenaikan tarif sesuai dengan kesediaan pelanggan sehingga tarif yang ditentukan lebih sesuai dan dapat bersaing dalam pasar yang akan berpengaruh besar dalam peningkatan performa perusahaan khususnya dalam peningkatan pendapatan dan kepuasan pelanggan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Willingness to Pay (WTP), Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) dan Binary Logistic Regression. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai rata-rata WTP pelanggan, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi WTP dan memperoleh rekomendasi tarif pengiriman barang terhadap PT LPB. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu nilai rata-rata WTP pelanggan terhadap kenaikan tarif sebesar Rp32.909 per volume barang, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi WTP pelanggan adalah pendidikan, pekerjaan dan pendapatan dan rekomendasi kenaikan tarif pengiriman barang yang dapat diberikan adalah minimal sebesar Rp30.000 per volume barang dan tidak melebihi nominal sebesar Rp40.000 per volume barang, tarif ini termasuk dalam batas toleransi pelanggan sehingga kenaikan di atas angka ini berpotensi mengurangi jumlah pelanggan yang bersedia membayar sesuai dengan kurva WTP yang menunjukkan pelanggan semakin berkurang dalam memilih opsi pada tarif yang lebih tinggi.
