Abstract

Indonesia terletak di wilayah tropis dengan tingkat curah hujan yang tinggi. Di beberapa daerah, terutama Kalimantan Timur, sering terjadi fenomena alam berupa limpahan air dalam jumlah besar selama musim hujan, seperti yang tercatat dalam data tahunan BMKG (Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika). Data curah hujan yang ada perlu dikelompokkan untuk memberikan informasi tentang pola curah hujan di suatu daerah, yang penting bagi masyarakat dan lembaga terkait. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi tingkat curah hujan di Kalimantan Timur menggunakan metode regresi data panel. Variabel independen yang digunakan meliputi kelembapan, kecepatan angin, tekanan udara, suhu/temperatur, arah angin, hari hujan dan durasi penyinaran matahari, yang diambil dari data meteorologi tahunan di beberapa kabupaten/kota di Kalimantan Timur selama periode tertentu. Pendekatan data panel dipilih karena mampu menangkap variasi spasial dan temporal secara simultan, sehingga memberikan hasil analisis yang lebih komprehensif dengan model terbaik adalah Fixed Efffect Model (FEM) dengan hasil estimasi variansi antar waktu dengan pengaruh variabel yang diberikan yang terbaik dari variansi antar waktu yaitu 55,44%.
