Abstract
Emas merupakan salah satu barang yang paling banyak diminati oleh masyarakat maupun para investor karena selain dengan harganya yang mahal emas ini dapat menjadi salah satu barang yang dapat di investasikan untuk jangka panjang dimasa yang akan datang. Harga emas mengalami peningkatan disetiap bulannya begitu pula dengan nilai tukar mata uang atau kurs. Hal tersebut yang bertolak belakang dengan inflasi yang mengalami penurunan dari rentang waktu bulan Januari 2017 dan mengalami penurunan yang tajam dari bulan Januari 2020 hingga Januari. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini, metode yang cocok untuk digunakan yaitu metode ARIMAX. Metode ARIMAX merupakan pengembangan dari model ARIMA dengan menambahkan variabel eksogen yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan data bulanan dari Januari tahun 2014 hingga Januari 2023. Hasil analisis yang dapatkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pada metode ARIMAX, ARIMAX mampu memberikan hasil yang lebih akurat dibandingkan dengan metode ARIMA. Pemilihan model terbaik didapatkan berdasarkan tinggat MAPE yang terkecil. Sehingga, dalam penelitian ini model ARIMAX ([3,6],1,0) merupakan model terbaik dengan nilai MAPE sebesar 2.81%. yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat akurat.
