Abstract

Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) publik merupakan salah satu sarana dalam pengurangan urban stress. Kecamatan Tanah Grogot dihuni oleh 28,14% dari total penduduk Kabupaten Paser. Kecamatan ini mengalami pertumbuhan kepadatan penduduk yang tinggi sesuai standar SNI-03-1733-2004, dengan kepadatan sekitar 222 jiwa/km². Kepadatan ini dapat memicu stres atau gangguan kecemasan. Terdapat hubungan antara kesehatan mental penduduk dan keberadaan ruang terbuka publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat stres pengunjung, menganalisis kualitas RTH publik, serta merumuskan arahan pengembangan RTH publik sebagai sarana pengurangan urban stress. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, analisis tabulasi, dan analisis SOAR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pengunjung mengalami tingkat stres berat 55% hingga berat sekali 35%. Kualitas ruang terbuka hijau publik yang dinilai cukup baik, tetapi masih terdapat indikator tertentu yang masih perlu ditingkatkan seperti keberadaan fasilitas yang rusak, kurangnya vegetasi peneduh, dan aroma tidak sedap dari limbah (sampah). Berdasarkan analisis SOAR, dirumuskan arahan pengembangan RTH publik yang mencakup peningkatan fasilitas dasar, penambahan vegetasi, serta pengelolaan lingkungan yang mendukung kenyamanan dan kesehatan mental masyarakat. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap pemahaman pengaruh ruang terbuka hijau publik sebagai tempat atau ruang penurunan urban stress.
