Abstract

Garis pantai merupakan batas wilayah yang dinamis dan selalu berubah akibat faktor alam maupun aktivitas manusia. Perubahan garis pantai meliputi penambahan daratan (akresi) dan pengikisan daratan (abrasi). Distik Makbon merupakan distrik yang ada di Kabupaten Sorong, Papua Barat Daya yang memiliki permasalahan abrasi pantai menyebabkan terancamnya kawasan pemukiman yang ada di pesisir pantai tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan garis pantai di Distrik Makbon dari tahun 2014 – 2024 dan mengetahui bagaimana pola hidrodinamika yang ada di lokasi tersebut serta menentukan bangunan pelindung pantai yang efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan pantai di Distrik Makbon. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terlihat bahwa perubahan garis pantai pada tahun 2014 – 2019 memiliki pola yang sama dengan tahun 2019 – 2024 namun terjadi perubahan yang signifikan khususnya pada area belokan menuju Teluk Dore dikarenakan terdapat galombang yang cukup besar terjadi pada tahun 2024. Selain itu berdasarkan hasil permodelan MIKE SW diketahui bahwa arah gelombang dominan berasal dari timur laut dan tegak lurus mengarah ke pantai memiliki ketinggian gelombang signifikan maksimum 0.72 m dan gelombang maksimum 1.43 m di laut dangkal terjadi pada musim penghujan, berdasarkan hasil analisa MIKE HD diperoleh arus maksimum di Pantai Makbon berada di belokan menuju Teluk Dore dengan kecepatan arus maksimum 0.485 m/s. gelombang dan arus yang kencang di belokan Teluk Dore tersebut yang menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan garis pantai yang “amat sangat berat” dengan perubahan garis pantai tahun 2014 – 2019 sebesar -3.11 m/tahun dan tahun 2019 – 2024 sebesar -3.31 m/tahun. Arus yang cukup kencang di belokan Pantai Makbon menuju Teluk Dore cukup kencang sehingga bangunan pelindung pantai yang dapat mengatasi masalah ini adalah berupa groin seri sehingga arus dan transport sedimen dapat tereduksi.
