Abstract

Threads adalah aplikasi microblogging yang dikembangkan oleh Instagram untuk memfasilitasi interaksi dan berbagi konten secara real-time. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam mengungkapkan pemikiran, berbagi pengalaman, dan terhubung dengan komunitas melalui pesan singkat. Meskipun begitu, masih ada beberapa kendala yang dialami pengguna saat menggunakan Threads. Tentu saja, Threads perlu melakukan perbaikan agar pengguna tetap tertarik untuk memanfaatkan platform ini, terutama dalam layanan microblogging. Berdasarkan masalah yang dihadapi pengguna, diperlukan upaya untuk membuat pengguna lebih nyaman saat menggunakan Threads. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) dengan Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, dan Facilitating Conditions sebagai variabel independen dan Behavior Intention dan Use Behavior sebagai variabel dependen, dengan model analisis PLS-SEM pada perangkat lunak SmartPLS untuk mengukur sampel yang besar dan model yang kompleks dengan 161 responden di Indonesia. Pada pengujian hipotesis, didapatkan total Hipotesis sebanyak 16 Hipotesis dengan rincian 6 Hipotesis diterima dan 10 Hipotesis ditolak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Performance Expectency (PE), Effort Expectency (EE) dan Social Inluence (SI) aplikasi Threads Instagram berpengaruh positif terhadap Behavior Intention (BI), Hubungan Performance Expectency dengan Behavior Intention diperkuat dengan variabel moderat Age, dan Behaviour Intention Aplikasi Threads Instagram memiliki hubungan positif terhadap Use Behaviour. Adapun rekomendasi penelitian yang disusun dengan mempertimbangkan masukan pertanyaan terbuka serta didukung oleh refrensi jurnal dan buku maka didapatkan rekomendasi dari hasil pengujian hipotesis yang ditolak yaitu penambahan beberapa fitur untuk mempermudah pengguna dalam berkomunikasi seperti Dirrect Massanger (DM), penyediaan panduan langkah atau video tutorial dalam memperbaiki akun yang ditangguhkan, melakukan evaluasi terkait tampilan UI/UX, memperbaiki server serta melakukan maintenance.
