Abstract

Pulau Kalimantan terdiri atas berbagai kabupaten/kota dengan karakteristik wilayah yang beragam, yang mencerminkan ketimpangan dalam pembangunan manusia. Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), yang terdiri dari dimensi kesehatan, pendidikan, dan ekonomi, digunakan sebagai indikator utama untuk mengukur kualitas pembangunan. Data menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar wilayah Kalimantan masih memiliki nilai IPM di bawah nilai IPM nasional, yang menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan dalam akses dan kualitas layanan dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan kabupaten/kota di Pulau Kalimantan berdasarkan indikator IPM tahun 2024 menggunakan metode Fuzzy C-Means (FCM). Evaluasi hasil pengelompokan dilakukan menggunakan tiga indeks validitas, yaitu Classification Entrophy (CE), Partition Coefficient (PC), dan Modifier Partition Coefficient (MPC). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa jumlah cluster optimal adalah dua, dengan cluster pertama mencakup wilayah dengan capaian indikator IPM relatif lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan cluster kedua yang terdiri dari wilayah dengan indikator IPM relatif lebih tinggi. Perbedaan karakteristik antar cluster menunjukkan adanya ketimpangan pembangunan manusia antar kabupaten/kota di Pulau Kalimantan berdasarkan indikator IPM. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi perumusan kebijakan pembangunan yang lebih terarah dan berkeadilan.
