Abstract
Titanium (IV) oksida pharmaceutical grade dari ilmenite melalui proses hidrometalurgi dengan kapasitas 16.000 ton/tahun terdiri dari 4 tahapan proses, yaitu tahap pre-treatment pasir ilmenite, sulfatasi, hidrolisis dan kalsinasi. Tahap pre-treatment dilakukan untuk menghancurkan ilmenite menjadi 170 mesh, tahap sulfatasi dilakukan dengan mereaksikan ilmenite dan asam sulfat pada reaktor autoclave, tahap hidrolisis dengan melarutkan SO4 pada TiOSO4, tahap kalsinasi untuk memperoleh produk. Pabrik Titanium (IV) oksida pharmaceutical grade memiliki pekerja sebanyak 550 pekerja dengan waktu operasional 24 jam dalam waktu setahun (330 hari) dengan pembagian jam kerja menjadi 3 shift selama 8 jam/shift. Pabrik ini direncanakan akan didirikan di Tanjung Kalian. Kabupaten Bangka Barat, Bangka Belitung dengan luas tanah sebesar 60.000 m2. Pabrik Titanium (IV) oksida pharmaceutical grade ini membutuhkan listrik sebesar 1,150.529 kW/jam dan kebutuhan air sebesar 1,294,494.36 kg/jam. Adapun modal tetap (FCI) dan modal kerja (WCI) yang dibutuhkan untuk pembangunan pabrik ini adalah sebesar Rp 410,989,937,714.44 dan Rp 71,523,077,337.45 dengan jumlah modal investasi (TCI) sebesar Rp 482,513,015,051.89. Aspek ekonomi terukur dari pabrik ini adalah nilai DCFR sebesar 45.08%, nilai ROI sebesar 83.838%, dan BEP sebesar 64.258%. Berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang telah disebutkan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik titanium (IV) oksida pharmaceutical grade ini layak untuk dikaji lebih lanjut.
