Abstract
Pupuk kalsium nitrat merupakan salah satu pupuk majemuk yang mengandung unsur hara penting seperti nitrogen dan kalsium, yang berperan dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan serta kualitas tanaman, khususnya tanaman hortikultura dan hidroponik. Tingginya angka impor pupuk kalsium nitrat di Indonesia, yang mencapai pertumbuhan rata-rata 17,87% per tahun selama 2014–2023. Pra-rancangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang pabrik pupuk kalsium nitrat dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 173.000 ton/tahun berdasarkan prediksi kebutuhan domestik tahun 2030. Bahan baku utama yang digunakan adalah kalsium karbonat dan asam nitrat dengan reaksi sintesis berlangsung dalam CSTR dan proses granulasi menggunakan teknologi fluidized granulator untuk menghasilkan produk berbentuk granula yang seragam. Pabrik direncanakan berlokasi di kawasan industri JIIPE, Gresik, Jawa Timur. Evaluasi ekonomi menunjukkan nilai Total Capital Investment (TCI) sebesar Rp360,3 triliun, Return on Investment (ROI) sebesar 68,19%, Break Even Point (BEP) sebesar 58%, Shut Down Point (SDP) sebesar 43%, Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp21,35 triliun, Discounted Cash Flow Rate of Return (DCFR) sebesar 32%, dan Discounted Payback Period (DPBP) selama 1 tahun 7 bulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis teknis dan ekonomi, pabrik pupuk kalsium nitrat ini dinilai layak untuk dikaji lebih lanjut dan berpotensi berkontribusi terhadap kemandirian sektor pertanian nasional.
