Abstract
Penggunaan logam sebagai proteksi katodik, khususnya anoda tumbal, merupakan metode umum untuk mencegah korosi pada lambung kapal. Anoda tumbal berbasis Al-Zn memiliki umur pakai terbatas dan umumnya diganti saat tersisa 5–20% dari massa awalnya. Hal ini berkaitan dengan tujuan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 12 mengenai konsumsi dan produksi yang bertanggung jawab. Limbah anoda tumbal berpotensi didaur ulang melalui proses recasting, namun efektivitas perlindungannya perlu dikaji. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi konsistensi komposisi kimia dan performa proteksi korosi anoda hasil recasting dengan variasi komposisi: 100% Al, 75% Al : 25% Zn, dan 50% Al : 50% Zn. Hasil uji kapasitas arus menunjukkan nilai masing-masing sebesar 3,383 Ah/kg, 2,285 Ah/kg, dan 2,109 Ah/kg. Pengukuran Closed Circuit Potential (CCP) menunjukkan nilai potensial masing-masing sebesar -0,966 V, -0,943 V, -0,937 V dan Open Circuit Potential (OCP) didapatkan hasil bahwa anoda hasil recast memenuhi standar DNV RP B401 sebagai proteksi katodik.
