Abstract

Kebutuhan TCP dalam negeri sepenuhnya bergantung pada impor terutama dari China yang menyebabkan tingginya biaya produksi dan risiko ketergantungan pasokan. TCP digunakan sebagai plasticizer utama untuk meningkatkan fleksibilitas dan daya tahan Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). Produksi TCP dilakukan melalui reaksi antara phosphorus oxychloride dan cresol dengan bantuan katalis magnesium klorida (MgCl₂). Pabrik ini direncanakan berdiri di Kota Cilegon, Provinsi Banten pada tahun 2030 dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 13.000 ton per tahun yang terdiri dari 3 tahapan proses yaitu, pre-treatment, tahap reaksi, dan tahap pemurnian produk. Tahap pre-treatment dilakukan untuk menyesuaikan kondisi operasi cresol dan phosphorus oxychloride. Selanjutnya, mereaksikan cresol dengan phosphorus oxychloride pada reaktor fixed bed. Kemudian, dilakukan tahap pemurnian menggunakan distilasi untuk mendapatkan produk utama TCP dengan kemurnian 99% dan produk samping HCl dengan kemurnian 32%. Pabrik ini akan beroperasi secara kontinyu selama 330 hari selama setahun dengan waktu operasional 24 jam. Berdasarkan analisa ekonomi yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh jumlah modal investasi (TCI) pabrik TCP sebesar $19,353,997.01 dengan nilai DCFR sebesar 48.77%, Net Profit Value sebesar $133,080,692.93, DPBP selama 1.789 tahun, ROI sebesar 85.54%, BEP sebesar 62.932%, dan SDP 31.02%.
