Abstract

Kota Balikpapan merupakan salah satu kota yang berada di Kalimantan Timur yang memiliki masterplan smart city. Dengan adanya potensi yang besar dalam pengembangan sektor wisata berbasis teknologi maka diperlukan implementasi smart city dan konsep smart tourism. Keterbatasan infrastruktur pendukung smart tourism menjadi suatu permasalahan yang penting untuk direncanakan guna mendukung konsep smart tourism di Kota Balikpapan. Namun, untuk mencapai hal tersebut, perlu dilakukan analisis kesiapan infrastruktur pendukung smart tourism di kota ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi tingkat kesiapan infrastruktur pendukung smart tourism di Kota Balikpapan. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini terbagi dua bagian meliputi metode analisis Scoring untuk mengetahui kesiapan infrastruktur digital pendukung smart toursim dan strategi tingkat kesiapan infrastruktur pendukung smart toursim di Obyek wisata Pantai Manggar Segara Sari, Pantai Kemala, Pantai Monpera Kota Balikpapan berdasarkan analisis SWOT . Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pantai Manggar Segara Sari berada pada kategori “cukup siap”, sedangkan Pantai Kemala dan Pantai Monpera masih dalam kategori “tidak siap” dalam hal kesiapan infrastruktur digital pendukung smart tourism. Strategi utama yang dihasilkan yaitu optimalisasi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi (seperti WiFi publik, QR link, dan media sosial), edukasi pelaku usaha terkait digitalisasi layanan, kolaborasi dengan investor untuk pengembangan fasilitas berbasis teknologi, serta peningkatan promosi digital dan pelayanan berbasis aplikasi
