Abstract
Amonium klorida merupakan bahan baku penting dalam industri pupuk, khususnya pupuk NPK yang mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional. Kebutuhan amonium klorida di Indonesia mencapai 241.273 ton pada tahun 2024, namun hingga kini belum tersedia fasilitas produksi dalam negeri, sehingga seluruh permintaan masih dipenuhi melalui impor. Pra-rancangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang pabrik amonium klorida dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 150.000 ton/tahun untuk memenuhi proyeksi kebutuhan sektor pupuk domestik sebesar 2.210.639 ton/tahun pada 2034, yang tumbuh rata-rata 37,84% per tahun. Proses produksi dilakukan dengan metode Netralisasi Langsung menggunakan bahan baku utama amonia dan asam klorida, melalui tahapan preparasi, reaksi sintesis dalam reaktor bertekanan atmosferik pada suhu 100°C, kristalisasi, sentrifugasi, hingga pengeringan menggunakan rotary dryer. Pabrik direncanakan berlokasi di Krakatau Industrial Estate Cilegon (KIEC) karena kedekatan dengan sumber bahan baku, target pasar, dan infrastruktur industri. Evaluasi ekonomi menunjukkan nilai Total Capital Investment (TCI) sebesar $ 59.714.281,59, Break Even Point (BEP) sebesar 77%, Payback Period (PBP) selama 0,0062 tahun, dan Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp. 9.844.996.449.710 dan Return of Investment (ROI) sebesar 59%.Berdasarkan hasil analisis teknis dan ekonomi, pabrik amonium klorida ini dinilai layak dikembangkan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan impor serta mendukung kemandirian industri pupuk nasional secara berkelanjutan.
