Abstract

Perkembangan industri kelapa sawit di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan setiap tahunnya, yang turut mendorong kebutuhan akan teknologi pemantauan kualitas crude palm oil (CPO) yang efisien dan akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sensor berbasis saluran transmisi gelombang mikro yang dilengkapi dengan struktur Split Ring Resonator (SRR) jamak, guna mendeteksi parameter kualitas CPO. Metode yang digunakan memanfaatkan perubahan karakteristik elektromagnetik pada saluran transmisi saat berinteraksi dengan sampel CPO. Desain SRR digunakan untuk meningkatkan sensitivitas sensor terhadap kandungan air dan asam lemak bebas. Prototipe sensor diuji dengan variasi konsentrasi dan kondisi CPO untuk menganalisis respons frekuensi dan amplitudo. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor mampu membedakan kualitas CPO secara akurat, sehingga memiliki potensi besar untuk diterapkan dalam sistem monitoring industri pengolahan kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan teknologi sensor yang presisi dan aplikatif di bidang agroindustri.
