Abstract

PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi pupuk urea untuk mendukung kebutuhan sektor pertanian nasional. Dalam menjaga efektivitas proses produksi, diperlukan evaluasi terhadap kinerja peralatan produksi melalui penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan TPM pada Urea Plant Pabrik 2 menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Six Big Losses (SBL), Fishbone Diagram, dan Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata OEE sebesar 88,92%, yang telah melampaui standar world-class sebesar 85%. Nilai availability sebesar 95,10%, performance sebesar 92,49%, dan quality sebesar 100%. Meskipun nilai OEE telah memenuhi standar, komponen performance masih berada di bawah standar ideal sebesar 95%. Analisis six big losses menunjukkan bahwa reduce speed losses dan breakdown losses merupakan faktor dominan yang menyebabkan kehilangan efektivitas peralatan. Selanjutnya, analisis fishbone diagram menunjukkan bahwa penyebab utama berasal dari faktor machine, method, dan man. Hasil FMEA mengidentifikasi equipment kritis yang berpotensi menyebabkan gangguan operasi, yaitu 302-JT (Turbine CO₂ Compressor), 302-JTC (Surface Condenser), dan 307-J (HP Carbamate Pump). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan TPM pada Urea Plant Pabrik 2 dapat dikategorikan efektif, namun untuk meningkatkan keandalan peralatan dan mengurangi downtime, diperlukan peningkatan dalam hal pemeliharaan terencana, pengendalian kecepatan operasi, pengembangan keterampilan personel, dan pengelolaan spare part. .
