Abstract

Transportasi merupakan elemen penting dalam mendukung mobilitas perkotaan. Kota Balikpapan sebagai gerbang utama menuju IKN menghadapi peningkatan kebutuhan transportasi akibat pertumbuhan penduduk dan mobilitas masyarakat. Rendahnya penggunaan transportasi umum serta tingginya ketergantungan terhadap kendaraan pribadi menyebabkan kemacetan dan menurunnya efisiensi pergerakan. Oleh karena itu, Stasiun high-speed rail dirancang sebagai fasilitas transportasi yang meningkatkan konektivitas dan mendorong penggunaan transportasi umum massal. Perancangan menggunakan metode design-based research melalui berbagai tahapan analisis dengan menerapkan pendekatan smart cubes, yang memadukan konsep smart melalui sistem bangunan cerdas yang efisien dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan pengguna serta lingkungan yang diterapkan dalam bentuk denah dan desain lansekap, dengan konsep cubes melalui penerapan bentuk modular berbasis geometri kubus yang menciptakan ruang terstruktur dan lebih modern. Perancangan ini menghasilkan desain berupa stasiun tiga lantai dengan sistem sirkulasi vertikal, dimana peron terletak pada lantai tiga menggunakan sistem flyover, lantai dua sebagai area utama aktivitas keberangkatan dan kedatangan penumpang, dan lantai dasar sebagai area publik. Desain ini mendukung terciptanya infrastruktur transportasi yang modern, efisien, nyaman, serta memperkuat identitas Balikpapan sebagai gerbang utama menuju IKN dan sebagai kota cerdas yang berkelanjutan.
