Abstract

Penyalahgunaan narkoba merupakan permasalahan serius di Indonesia, dengan Kalimantan Timur sebagai salah satu daerah yang mengalami dampak signifikan. Berdasarkan data yang ada, kasus narkoba di Kalimantan Timur menunjukkan angka yang fluktuatif, dengan jumlah kasus yang masih tergolong tinggi meskipun ada penurunan pada tahun 2023. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan rehabilitasi adalah kualitas fasilitas rehabilitasi yang tersedia. Saat ini, Balai Rehabilitasi Tanah Merah di Samarinda menjadi pusat rehabilitasi satu-satunya di Kalimantan Timur, namun fasilitas ini memiliki keterbatasan kapasitas dan kondisi ruang yang kurang optimal. Beberapa masalah yang ditemukan antara lain kurangnya pencahayaan alami, ventilasi yang buruk, dan kelembaban yang tinggi, yang dapat mempengaruhi kenyamanan serta proses penyembuhan para penghuni. Selain itu, sistem navigasi di fasilitas tersebut juga tidak mendukung kelancaran kegiatan sehari-hari bagi penghuni dan staf. Oleh karena itu, perancangan ulang dengan pendekatan Healing Environment menjadi solusi yang relevan untuk menciptakan ruang yang mendukung proses pemulihan fisik, mental, dan sosial para pengguna narkoba. Pendekatan ini mengutamakan penggunaan elemen alam, pencahayaan alami, sirkulasi udara yang baik, dan penggunaan material ramah lingkungan. Dengan penerapan Healing Environment, diharapkan dapat tercipta suasana yang lebih nyaman dan mendukung ketenangan bagi penghuni, yang pada akhirnya dapat mempercepat proses rehabilitasi dan reintegrasi sosial mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang Balai Rehabilitasi Kalimantan Timur dengan konsep Healing Environment yang dapat mendukung tujuan rehabilitasi secara holistik, serta meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan penghuni dan mengurangi tingkat stres yang mereka alami.
