Abstract

abstrak_id : Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong perguruan tinggi untuk menyediakan media informasi digital yang efektif dan mudah diakses, salah satunya melalui website. Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) Institut Teknologi Kalimantan telah mengoperasikan website sebagai sarana penyampaian informasi kegiatan penelitian dan pengabdian. Namun, berdasarkan hasil evaluasi website serta wawancara dengan tenaga kependidikan, dosen, dan mahasiswa, diketahui bahwa website yang ada masih memiliki beberapa keterbatasan, seperti penyajian informasi yang belum lengkap, struktur navigasi yang kurang terorganisasi, serta tampilan antarmuka yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perancangan ulang dan pengembangan website LPPM ITK agar informasi dapat disajikan secara lebih terstruktur, informatif, dan mudah diakses oleh pengguna. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Prototype yang memungkinkan pengembangan sistem dilakukan secara iteratif melalui pembuatan model awal yang kemudian dievaluasi dan disempurnakan berdasarkan umpan balik pengguna. Penelitian ini menghasilkan prototype website LPPM ITK yang dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel melalui lima iterasi pengembangan bersama pihak LPPM ITK. Seluruh umpan balik yang berjumlah 21 poin perbaikan berhasil ditindaklanjuti, dan prototype dinyatakan sesuai dengan kebutuhan lembaga setelah melalui pengujian penerimaan pengguna. Kata kunci : Prototype, Website, LPPM, User Interface , Pengembangan Sistem. abstrak_en : The advancement of information technology encourages higher education institutions to provide effective and easily accessible digital information media, one of them being a website. The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Institut Teknologi Kalimantan has operated a website as a means of delivering information on research and community service activities. However, based on the results of a website evaluation and interviews with education personnel, lecturers, and students, the existing website was found to still have several limitations, such as incomplete information presentation, a poorly organized navigation structure, and a suboptimal interface. This study aims to redesign and develop the LPPM ITK website so that information can be presented in a more structured, informative, and accessible manner for users. The method used is the Prototype method, which allows the system to be developed iteratively through the creation of an initial model that is subsequently evaluated and refined based on user feedback. This study produced a prototype of the LPPM ITK website, developed using the Laravel framework through five development iterations together with the LPPM ITK team. All feedback, amounting to 21 improvement points, was successfully addressed, and the prototype was declared to meet the institution's needs after undergoing user acceptance testing.
