Abstract
Sektor peternakan berperan penting dalam ketahanan pangan nasional karena menyuplai sekitar 36.5% kebutuhan protein masyarakat Indonesia. Produksi L-Lysine HCl bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan produktivitas ternak serta mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional melalui metode fermentasi fed-batch berbahan baku molase. Pabrik ini dirancang beroperasi menggunakan bakteri Corrynebacterium glutamicum pada suhu 30°C dan tekanan 1 atm dengan waktu fermentasi selama 125 jam. Umur pabrik dirancang selama 16 tahun. Dengan spesifikasi tersebut, Rp940.114.592.554,04 diperlukan dan biaya biaya investasi total (TCI) sebesar total produksi (TPC) sebesar Rp2.171.321.718.939. Melalui analisis teknis dan ekonomi dengan tingkat suku bunga bank sebesar 1,27%, didapatkan laju pengembalian modal (ROI) pabrik sebesar 95,64%, waktu pengembalian modal (DPBP) selama 1,326 tahun, dan titik impas (BEP) sebesar 60%. Hasil pra-rancangan menunjukkan bahwa pabrik L Lysine ini layak untuk dikaji lebih lanjut. Kata kunci: L-Lysine HCl, Fermentasi, Molase, Corrynebacterium Glutamicum, Evaluasi Ekonomi.
