Abstract

Kebakaran pada bangunan komersial berpotensi menimbulkan kerugian besar terhadap keselamatan jiwa, aset, dan aktivitas ekonomi, sehingga keandalan sistem proteksi kebakaran aktif menjadi faktor penting dalam mendeteksi serta mengendalikan kebakaran sejak tahap awal. Mall Plaza Balikpapan sebagai pusat perbelanjaan yang telah beroperasi lebih dari tiga dekade memiliki tingkat risiko kebakaran yang cukup tinggi, sehingga diperlukan evaluasi sistem proteksi aktif kebakaran secara menyeluruh untuk memastikan kesesuaiannya dengan standar dan regulasi Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Nomor 26/PRT/M/2008 yang berlaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi tingkat kesesuaian sistem proteksi aktif kebakaran terhadap Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Nomor 26/PRT/M/2008 serta peraturan Pd-T-11-2005-C. Evaluasi dilakukan pada empat lantai bangunan (Ground Foor, Upper Ground, Lantai 1, dan Lantai 2) menggunakan metode evaluatif deskriptif dan wawancara melalui observasi lapangan, telaah dokumen teknis, serta perbandingan kondisi eksisting dengan regulasi yang berlaku. Sistem yang ditinjau meliputi deteksi dan alarm kebakaran, sprinkler otomatis, hidran gedung, serta alat pemadam api ringan (APAR). Hasil evaluasi diklasifikasikan dalam kategori Baik (B), Cukup (C), dan Kurang (K) berdasarkan tingkat persentase kesesuaian. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai keandalan sistem proteksi kebakaran aktif di Mall Plaza Balikpapan serta rekomendasi teknis perbaikan agar sistem dapat beroperasi optimal dengan tingkat keandalan mencapai 76,95% sesuai standar keselamatan bangunan modern
