Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk Mengetahui faktor Eksternal dan Internal apa saja yang yang dapat mewakili scoring dari suatu galangan kapal di Indonesia. Selain itu, juga untuk Mengetahui strategi yang dapat menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif bagi perusahaan Galangan Khususnya PT. Karya Pacific Tehnik Shipyard Samarinda. Mekanisme ini tidak mudah dilakukan untuk pengusaha kecil dan menengah karena dalam merumuskan strategi membutuhkan mekanisme yang tidak sederhana. Oleh karena itu, Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM) adalah salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi proses bisnis karena Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM) dikenal dalam perbandingan nyata antara produk atau layanan yang ditawarkan untuk konsumen daripada produk atau layanan pesaing. Sementara strategi alternatif dapat dirumuskan berdasarkan nilai faktor yang terukur bersamaan dengan penggunaan Matrix IE (Internal Eksternal) ditahap pencocokan. Sedangkan tahap pengambilan keputusan Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan strategi yang dipilih yaitu Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). Kata kunci : Strategi, Faktor Internal, Faktor Eksternal, CPM, IE, QSPM.
