Abstract

Welding Engine Miller Big Blue 500X memiliki peranan penting dalam menunjang pekerjaan welding di PT XYZ. Namun, unit mesin tersebut masih sering mengalami kerusakan sehingga waktu kerja mesin tidak sepenuhnya berjalan efektif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan analisis efektivitas mesin untuk mengetahui tingkat kinerja dan faktor kerugian yang memengaruhi penggunaan mesin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas kerja Welding Engine Miller Big Blue 500X melalui pengukuran efektivitas mesin menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) serta penerapan konsep Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan pencatatan data operasional mesin selama periode Januari-Desember 2025. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan OEE, diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 77,27% yang masih berada di bawah standar world class sebesar 85%, dengan nilai availability sebesar 95%, performance sebesar 85%, dan quality sebesar 95%. Hasil analisis Six Big Losses menunjukkan bahwa jenis kerugian paling dominan adalah Reduced Speed Losses dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 14,08%, yang mengindikasikan bahwa mesin masih dapat beroperasi namun dengan kecepatan di bawah kondisi idealnya. Berdasarkan analisis diagram fishbone, penyebab utama Reduced Speed Losses diidentifikasi dari faktor manusia, mesin, metode, material, dan lingkungan. Usulan perbaikan disusun menggunakan pendekatan TPM yang mencakup pilar Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Education and Training, serta Safety, Health, and Environment. Penerapan usulan perbaikan tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas kerja Welding Engine Miller Big Blue 500X di PT XYZ secara berkelanjutan.
