Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan game aksi 2D berbasis budaya Majapahit menggunakan metode Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) dan implementasi Finite State Machine (FSM) di dalam Godot Engine. Proses pengembangan mengikuti enam tahap GDLC, yaitu initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, dan release, dengan hasil akhir berupa game yang dirilis melalui Google Play Store. FSM digunakan untuk mengatur perilaku musuh, seperti idle, chase, attack, dan die, dengan sistem yang modular dan fleksibel sehingga mendukung pengembangan AI lebih lanjut. Evaluasi usability dilakukan menggunakan dua kuesioner System Usability Scale (SUS): SUS standar dan SUS kustom untuk FSM. Hasil dari 20 responden menunjukkan skor 73 untuk SUS standar dan 75,8 untuk SUS FSM, yang berarti game dinilai layak dan sistem FSM mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan GDLC menghasilkan proses pengembangan yang terstruktur dan efisien, sementara implementasi FSM meningkatkan fleksibilitas AI dalam game. Evaluasi menunjukkan game dapat diterima dengan baik secara teknis maupun dari sisi pengalaman pengguna.
